- Pastor Richard Hernandez
Richard has been a Youth Pastor and community pastor at Family Life Christian Center in San Jose, Ca for over 12 years. He is Currently working as an evangelist through the Rise Above Ministry, as well as being the CEO of of an Engineering Company and the non profit company Rise Above Republic. He is available to speak at churches, concerts, conferences both as a minister or business motivational speaker.
Testimony
Before becoming a Christian, Richard was a high school drop out with with no direction. He was caught up in local street gangs, drinking and drugs. Growing up poor, and looking to get deeper into the gang lifestyle at 16, he was invited to a local church that changed his life forever. Experiencing a powerful encounter with God, he turned away from that path and through the grace of God became both a minister and entrepreneur. He became youth pastor at 22 and a C.E.O starting an engineering company at 26 and making over a million dollars in its first year. He was driven by the radical idea that any youth who finds his higher purpose can achieve anything through faith in Christ Jesus accompanied with the action to back it up. Reaching youth continues to be one of the primary focuses of the ministry hoping to inspire the same type of faith that takes someone to living in a trailer in the back of a crack house to owning a house in the Silicon Valley. This combination of both coming from a background of drugs, gangs and violence along with the transformation into Silicon Valley business leads to a unique view of what ministry can be through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Originally out of Praise Chapel International Richard joined the Assemblies of God and currently helps with the Northern California Nevada District Youth Regional Team.

- Myra Green
Myra Green is one of the founding members of Rise Above Republic, and a worship leader since she was 16 years old. She is a singer, song writer and is currently working on her debut album. Myra is also expanding Rise Above Republic in Dallas, Texas. Myra's music is inspired from real life experiences. From growing up in the church to losing her father in her teenager years, her debut song "Deep Down" expresses that no matter what the world throws at you we can and should continue to give God glory.
